Formation of the commissions is one of the components of the peace process which has been also mentioned in the Comprehensive Peace Accord. The bills which have been registered in parliament will now be taken back and fresh common bill will be drafted.

Present in the meeting were Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala, CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal, among others.
