The centre has asked for a prepared list of Aila affected people from the West Bengal government. The list is to be submitted in the end of this month. Two lakh rupees each have been sanctioned for those who died in the Aila may from the Prime Minister relief fund. 

The fire brigade and the essential services department has started work on a war fotting after receiving the letter from the Prime Minister office. Talking to newspersons in Kolkata today the state fire brigade Minister Javed Khan said that copies of this letter have been sent to the district administrative heads of 13 districts.
