Kingfisher owes over 279 crores rupees towards landing, parking and licence fee to Airport Authority of India. Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh told the Rajya Sabha today that the Authority is continuously monitoring the situation to ensure that private airlines pay their dues in time. In cases of default in payment by the airlines, penal interest is charged and credit facility is withdrawn.
