A Judge in Pakistan has granted bail to the young Christian girl accused of blasphemy. The teenager, Rimsha Masih was arrested last month. Rimsha has been in detention for the last three weeks. She is accused of burning pages of the Quran which carries a possible sentence of life in prison.

There was such a initial fury among local Muslims that her family was forced to enter protective custody and Rimsha's safety will now be a key concern. Later, a Muslim cleric was found to be involved in the case and was himself accused of blasphemy. Witnesses told prosecutors that they had seen him putting pages from the Quran into the girl's bag.blasphemy
