The United States has ordered all family members of non-essential staff to leave its embassies of Tunisia and Sudan.

The US embassies in these countries are among several US diplomatic missions to be targeted by protesters angered by an Internet video film relating to Prophet Mohammad.

The State Department has ordered all dependents and non-emergency government staff to leave Sudan.

A similar order was issued for Tunisia on Friday with the State Department urging American citizens to leave the country and warning those who remain to exercise extreme caution.

The American embassies in both Tunisia and Sudan were the targets of violent protests on Friday. Four people were killed in Tunisia where demonstrators scaled the walls of the embassy, set fire to vehicles in the car park and ransacked a nearby American school. लूटा हुआ
