Iran’s capital Teheran has one of the Kendriya Vidyalayas since 1952. The school came once again in to the focus today as Prime Minister’s wife Gurusharan Kaur visited the school today. She presented a cheque of Rs. 2 crore to the school for the welfare of the children. The star attraction was a cultural program by the school kids .The school has at present 190 children out of which 50 are foreign nationals from Bangladesh, Korea etc. The School Principal told AIR that the performance of students has seen a quantum jump over the past two years.
