Haryana Chief Minister, Mr.Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced to increase the minimum wages of the workers by 120 rupees per month in the State and these would be effective from July 1, 2012. Mr Hooda said that the decision to increase the minimum wages would benefit more than 11.5 lakh labourers working in factories, shops, dhabas, small undertakings and brick kilns. As many as, 7.5 lakh workers are working in about 11,500 large and small scale industries and four lakh people are working in the shops, dhabas and small undertakings.
