In Gujarat , under the national food security scheme, the accelerated pulse production programme has been started in the bordering Kutch district from today.
Air Bhuj Correspondent Shailesh vyas reports from rampar Vekra village that for the first time the farmers of this arid region have been encouraged for pulses farming.
In the first phase of national food security scheme 3000 hacters Of land will be cultivated for pulses production .
The series of training programmes for the framers have been oregenised under Food security scheme.
