Judges at a special court in the Hague have found the former President of Liberia Charles Taylor guilty on Thursday of aiding and averting in eleven counts of crimes linked to the civil war in neighbouring Sierra Leone in the 1990s.
The court also found him guilty of planning some attacks. He also accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity including murder, rape, mutilation and the use of child soldiers.
