The head of the Iran parliament’s Foreign Policy and National Security Commission, Alaeddin Boroujerdi has condemned the US move to provide a Missile defense shield to the gulf countries.
Iran’s Mehr News Agency quoted him saying that United States has been cheating regional countries with Iranophobia to sell them American weapons.
Boroujerdi said that the Arab nation Gulf nations should establish the security by relying on regional resources and cooperation together and not by inviting the foreigners to expand their military bases in the region.
At the Gulf Security Forum meeting in Riyadh on Saturday, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had offered to the gulf missile shield to strengthen their defence against threats including Iran.
