e West Bengal Government has announced Pension of 2,500 rupees per month to the accredited journalists of the state. Announcing this in Kolkata today the Chief Minister Miss. Mamata Banerjee said that journalists who have served for a minimum of 10 years in the state are eligible for the pension after retirement at 60 years. A seven member selection committee has been setup for this purpose.
