Centre has agreed to sanction three Tourism Mega Projects (TMP) of 50 crore rupees each to Jammu and Kashmir during current financial year. These three mega projects have been identified as Sufi Circuit for Kashmir, Spiritual Circuit for Jammu and Buddhist Circuit for Leh. This was stated by J&K Minister for Tourism and Culture, Nawang Rigzin Jora in Jammu. He said that in this regard Detailed Project Report (DPRs) of two projects have already been formulated and finalized and the DPR of third project is in final stage. Jora said that pilgrim tourism potential of Jammu is being explored fully by developing pilgrim sites and creation of infrastructure there. He said after development of Shiv Khouri holy templeS, focused attention would be given to develop other holy shrines and temples like Sudh Mahadev and Chandi Mata.
