Union Labour Minister Mallikarjuna Kharge inaugurated country’s first Apex Hi-Tech Institute in Bangalore today. Built at a cost of 32 crore rupees, the institute will train master trainers of ITIs and other vocational training institutes of the country.
Speaking on the occasion Mr.Kharge informed that his ministry has been given a target of training 10 crore youths in different skills during the 12th Five year plan period. He informed that a Bill on domestic workers and one on Child labour Abolition will be introduced in the next session of parliament.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister Sadanand Gowda said that state Government will provide land to build 100 bed hospitals in Doddaballapur and Bommasandra as proposed by Union labour ministry.
