The Ministry of Civil Aviation has convened a meeting of all recognised trade unions of Air India next week to discuss their issues related to human resources.
Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, Civil Aviation minister said the meeting has been called to discuss the career progression issues including promotions.
The Dharmadhikari Committee, which has recommended several measures on human resources integration issues in post-merger Air India, is likely to be taken up for discussion in the meeting.
Air India strike entered on the tenth day today by over 200 pilots. Several national and international flight have been cancelled due to ongoing strike. Thousands of passengers were stranded at airports due to this disruption.
